Long-Time Dice-Roller
Some of my greatest gaming experiences have taken place sitting (and sometimes standing and shouting) at my dining room table with my friends rolling dice.
I have been playing Dungeons & Dragons for almost a decade and a Dungeon Master for about as long. My current campaign, Draconix: The War After the Last, has been going strong for over two years. The party is currently searching for Captain Mechbeard's treasure in the Tempest Isles.
Creating the worlds and encounters my players face every week is only half as fun as sitting down and seeing what crazy, hilarious, and inspiring events take fold when the dice are rolled.
Filmmaker and Storyteller
Writing stories has always been a passion of mine. However, it doesn't even compare to creating stories with others and putting them on screen.
While studying screenwriting at UT Austin, I wrote and produced a pilot called Campus Heroes. It was a completely new and challenging experience taking something from an idea all the way to a finished product on the big screen.
That said, it was an absolute blast.
I carried this experience with me as I worked for Walt Disney Animation Studios working in development.
I still write and collaborate with people in the Austin film scene to this day.
Adventurer in Life (and Games)
After finishing an epic adventure game, I get the uncontrollable itch to go out and see the world.
One of my favorite places I have explored is Alaska. The vast wilderness, impossibly tall mountains, and calm quiet always make me feel like I've been transported to another world.
The next destination that is on the top of my list is Japan!
